Meaghan Good was born on October 5, 1985, in a tiny midwestern town eleven miles from the nearest traffic light. She has no personal experience with having a missing loved one, but became interested in missing people in 1998 or thereabouts through a chain of events she cannot quite remember now. Her interest lead to her friendship with Jennifer Marra, the founder of the Missing Persons Cold Case Network (MPCCN), the Charley Project's predecessor. That story can be found
here.
Meaghan had a somewhat unorthodox education, which included graduating high school in spite of having never taken any high school classes. Afterwards, she traveled south and enrolled in a tiny liberal arts college. She spends about fifteen or twenty hours a week working on the Charley Project. Her other interests include her pet rats, her sock collection (50+ pairs), precious and semiprecious gems, writing stories, and reading, particularly young adult fiction, trivia, history, and poetry. She is above all a writer, storyteller, and professional insomniac.
