    Details of Disappearance

Brown was last seen on August 8, 2008, when police stopped him for a traffic violation in New Paltz, New York. He lived on Flannery Avenue in Poughkeepsie, New York at the time. He had registered for fall semester classes at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany. Brown has never been heard from again. SUNY-Albany discharged him from enrollment after he didn't arrive there for classes. His vehicle, a blue four-door 2001 Hyundai Accent sedan with the New York license plate number DPY4895, is missing. It was last seen on the SUNY-Albany campus on December 16, 2008, four months after Brown's disappearance.

There have been several reported sightings of Brown in the local area since he went missing, but none of these have been confirmed. He left his passport and driver's license behind at home, and he never registered his car, something he was supposed to do by February 8, 2009. Brown left behind notes saying he thought people were after him. His case remains unsolved and the circumstances of his disappearance are unclear.
