    Details of Disappearance

    Evans disappeared from Plano, Texas on March 21, 2002. He was last heard from via a telephone call at 4:00 p.m. At the time, he is believed to have been at one of the stores he owned in Plano. He has never been heard from again. His wife realized he was missing when she came home at 5:30 p.m. and he was not there.

    Evans's vehicle was discovered abandoned on March 24, 2002, three days after his disappearance. The car was located at a roadside rest area along Interstate 20 ten miles outside of Terrell, Texas. Evans's keys were discovered underneath the driver's seat. Authorities stated that it appeared someone parked the vehicle and abandoned it in the lot for unclear reasons. Evans's case remains unsolved.
