    Details of Disappearance

King moved to Key West, Florida nine months prior to his disappearance, and took a job as a mechanic at Island Water Sports at the Westin Key West Resort Marina. He was acting delusional at the time of his disappearance, and said the CIA was after him and they were going to grind down his teeth. At 7:15 p.m. on April 12, 2010, he stole a dark blue Sea-Doo GTI boat from his employer and headed south.

Divers and a fishing boat crew reportedly saw King out on the water after he left the marina and attempted to make contact with him, but he refused to acknowledge them. An extensive search turned up no sign of King or the boat. Although he is wanted for grand theft for stealing the boat, the police and King's family are concerned for his safety because of his mental condition. His case remains unsolved.
