    Details of Disappearance

McCumiskey went to a bar called Chilkoot Charlie's in Anchorage, Alaska on the evening of March 1, 2001. She was underaged and used a friend's driver's license to get into the bar. Afterwards she called a friend from a pay phone at Sicily's Pizza the vicinity of the 4900 block of Lake Otis Parkway. She stated that her vehicle was having mechanical problems. McCumiskey's home was only a thirty-minute walk around Sicily's Pizza, but she never arrived home. Her vehicle was later located nearby with no evidence of her whereabouts. Her roommate reported her missing two months later.

McCumiskey is originally from upstate New York and moved to Alaska to live with her father when she was in her early teens. She become involved with a known drug dealer with a long criminal record for crimes including domestic violence, kidnapping, car theft and credit card fraud. NcCumiskey's disappearance would later be linked to the murders of Desiree Lekanoff and Michelle Rothe, two women whose dismembered remains were found on the coast of Alaska two and a half months apart in 2003. Both victims were involved with drugs and prostitution. No one has been arrested in their deaths.

There has been no indication of McCumiskey's whereabouts since 2001. Foul play is suspected in her case, which remains unsolved.
