Meadows has the following tattoos: lightning bolts on both upper legs, a tick on his chest, a panther on his upper right arm and a bird on his right forearm. His hair may be worn in a small ponytail and he had a short growth of beard at the time of his disappearance.
  • Clothing/Jewelry Description: A green coat, green or brown cargo pants, a brimmed black hat, a silver wedding band and possibly camouflage-print boots.
  • Medical Conditions: Meadows has multiple unspecified medical conditions requiring medication.

    Details of Disappearance

    Meadows was last seen on September 30, 2015, when his wife dropped him off at Hale Lake Road near the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail in Marion, Virginia. He was planning to go camping for a few days. His wife was supposed to pick him up between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. on October 2, but when she showed up at the designated spot on Hale Lake Road, he wasn't there. An extensive search of the area turned up no indication of his whereabouts.

    Meadows lived in Wytheville, Virginia at the time of his disappearance. His case remains unsolved.
