  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian male. Brown hair, blue eyes. Poach is missing a lower right tooth and his upper left eyetooth. He has scars on both wrists from carpal tunnel surgery and a scar on top of his head from stitches. Poach has the following tattoos: an eagle and a sword with a snake on his upper right arm, a peacock on his lower right arm, and a butterfly and a dragon on his upper left arm. His nicknames are Doug and Shorty.
  • Clothing/Jewelry Description: Possibly a thermal plaid flannel shirt and vest, a sleeveless t-shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots.
  • Medical Conditions: Poach is an alcoholic. Due to unspecified statements he made prior to his disappearance, there is concern for his mental well-being.

    Details of Disappearance

    Poach was last seen at a family member's residence in the vicinity of the 800 block of 100th Street in Amery, Wisconsin at approximately 9:45 a.m. on January 3, 2006. He lived in New Haven, Wisconsin at the time of his disappearance. He has never been heard from again. Poach had a drinking problem prior to his disappearance and had been arrested numerous times, and he was sometimes out of touch with his family for six months to twelve months at a time, but he would always return eventually and but it's uncharacteristic of him to be out of touch with his family for years. He may be in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota area. His case remains unsolved.
