Rubiano had custody of Lukas at the time of his abduction, but Lukas's father had visitation several days a week. The couple had never married. After the baby was kidnapped, his father was able to get full custody of him because Rubiano had violated the visitation agreement. She and Lukas may be in Mexico; Rubiano is a Mexican citizen. The child's whereabouts are unknown and his case remains unsolved.
