His nickname is Rob and he may spell his first name "Roberto."
  • Clothing/Jewelry Description: A long-sleeved black and gray Nautica shirt, black jeans, ACG Nike boots, black socks, a gold wedding ring with a design of two crushed diamond nuggets in the middle of two lines, a ring inscribed with his nickname "Rob," and a link identification bracelet inscribed with the word "Garafina."
  • Medical Conditions: Ramos has a heart condition. He has suffered two prior heart attacks and has two stents implanted in his heart. He is in need of medical attention.

    Details of Disappearance

    Ramos was last seen in Mount Vernon, New York, which borders the New York City borough of the Bronx, on April 14, 2009. He left his residence at noon to go to a Foodtown store on east Prospect Avenue, and never returned. He has never been heard from again. On April 24, Ramos's gray 2001 Jeep Laredo Green Cherokee was found abandoned in front of a fire hydrant, facing a building on 224th Street and Bronx Boulevard.

    Ramos was carrying a wallet with his New York driver's license, medical card, Chase bank card and family photos when he disappeared. He left his three children behind at home, and he also left his cellular phone charging. Few details are available in his case.
