    Details of Disappearance

Sarabia's mother spoke to her at 2:00 a.m. on November 26, 2004. Sarabia had attended a Thanksgiving celebration with friends and family members at Babcock Road and east Sunshine and called her mother to say she would soon return to the home they shared in the 3600 block of Callaghan Road. Her mother stated that nothing seemed to be amiss during the conversation. Sarabia never arrived home.

The last confirmed sighting of Sarabia was at 6:00 a.m. along Callahan and Ingram Road in San Antonio. Another guest at the party, Richard Chabes (sometimes spelled "Chavez"), offered her a ride home. He later told police that when he stopped at his residence at the Kingswood Manor Apartments in the 4400 block of Callaghan Road, Sarabia decided to walk the remaining 1 1/2 miles to her home alone. Chabes packed his belongings and moved out of his apartment abruptly a few days after Sarabia vanished. Authorities have found what appeared to be blood spots in his apartment and want to question him. He is not being called a suspect in Sarabia's disappearance, but he is a person of interest, and he has several outstanding traffic warrants against him.

Sarabia separated from her husband of five years and moved in with her mother a year before she vanished. She has two sons and her mother says it would be uncharacteristic of her to willingly abandon them. Foul play is possible in her case, which remains unsolved.
