    Details of Disappearance

    South was last seen in Mountain City, Tennessee on December 18, 1998. He went to spend the evening with some friends and never returned. He was driving a white 1985 or 1989 Subaru Justy hatchback with a cracked left taillight and the Tennessee license plate number 292-EJW at the time of his disappearance. He has never been heard from again.

    South was supposed to meet with his family on December 20 to help decorate their Christmas tree, but he never showed up. They reported him missing after they hadn't heard from him for several days; they didn't believe he had left voluntarily. Few details are available in South's disappearance. He is a Vietnam War veteran.
