Details of Disappearance
Ibtsam was last seen in New Britain, Connecticut on December 20, 2003. She and her sisters, Hanan and Shima, were abducted by their non-custodial father, Abdo Ali Tarat. A photograph and vital statistics for Abdo are posted below this case summary. A felony warrant was issued for him on January 7, 2004. He is believed to have taken his daughters to Yemen. Hanan, Ibtsam and Shima may be in the company of three male children. Their cases are unsolved.
