Cravens disappeared from San Diego, California sometime between 2003 and 2005, when he was in his mid-twenties. He lead a transient lifestyle, so the exact date of his disappearance could not be ascertained. In 2011, his family learned he was the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident in Beaumont, Texas in August 2006.

Long, 47, disappeared from Dalton, Georgia on April 22, 2010. In September 2011, his body was found in the woods near Autumn Ridge in Dalton. Authorities don't believe foul play was a factor in Long's death.
