Details of Disappearance

Lyle was lat seen in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina at 6:30 a.m. on March 10, 2016. He was en route to Charlotte, North Carolina for a meeting, but never arrived there and has never been heard from again.

Lyle was driving his sister's orange four-door 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with the personalized North Carolina license plate number NEW BLK and a spare tire cover reading "Southern Jeep Greenbrier Norfolk" in a circle around the phrase "Save the Headlights" in a box. He'd borrowed his sister's car because his own was broken down.

Photos of the vehicle are posted with this case summary. It was found at a Comfort Inn in Salisbury, North Carolina after Lyle's disappearance, with his wallet and cellular phone inside it.

Little information is available in Lyle's disappearance. He didn't have any extra clothing, toiletries, his medication, or any cash or credit cards when he disappeared, and his family doesn't believe he would have abandoned his wife and children. His case remains unsolved.
