Details of Disappearance

Castrejon was last seen at Rustler Park in the Chiricahua Mountains in Cochise County, Arizona on June 19, 2015. She was there with her parents, awaiting the arrival of other relatives and friends from their church for a planned outing.

She and her mother went the pay station, a thousand feet from, where they'd parked their motor home, and then her mother stopped to use the bathroom. When her mother came out of the bathroom, Castrejon was gone. She never returned to the motor home and has never been heard from again, and an extensive search turned up no evidence as to her whereabouts. No one saw or heard anything unusual.

Castrejon's family believes she may have been abducted by a stranger. Dogs tracked her scent along the road before losing the trail; it's possible she got into a vehicle. She lived with her parents in Las Cruces, New Mexico at the time of her disappearance. Her case remains unsolved.
