Details of Disappearance
Whitaker disappeared from Sugar Land, Texas on June 29, 2004. He left a note behind saying he feared being arrested for the murders of his mother and brother, who were shot to death in 2003. In September 2005, authorities located Whitaker in Monterrey, Mexico and arrested him for capital murder. Two other suspects are also in custody.
