Details of Disappearance
Burns was last on January 25, 1984, after he left his home in Rochester, Pennsylvania to work the 6 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. shift at the J&L Steel Mill in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. He never arrived there and has never been heard from again.
After his disappearance, his blue 1974 Dodge was found abandoned on a bridge in Rochester, with the engine still running. There was no sign of Burns at the scene; his case remains unsolved.
