Details of Disappearance
Esiquio Guzman was last seen with her daughter, Paulina Morales, in Baja California south, Mexico during late June 2004. They were attempting to cross the border into the United States. Esiquio Guzman's family has not heard from her since.
On July 7, 2004, Morales's body was found in the desert near Topawa Village, Arizona. Foul play is suspected in Esiquio Guzman's case. Her disappearance remains unsolved. Phoenix, Arizona police are investigating.
