Workman disappeared from Lewistown, Pennsylvania on April 25, 2017. In 2021, his partial skeletal remains (two femurs and a tibia) and some of his clothes and belongings were found by a duck hunter on an island in the Susquehanna River in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They were identified in August 2026. The cause and manner of death are unknown.
