Details of Disappearance

Kenkel was last seen sitting on a dock at N.P. Dodge Park in Douglas County, Nebraska between 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. on January 14, 1994. He has never been heard from again. His vehicle, a maroon four-door 1990 Honda Accord with the Nebraska handicapped license plate number 1049, is also missing.

Kenkel's wife stated he was too disabled to have tried to run away and make another life for himself; he had trouble even walking. He worked at Mutual of Omaha at the time of his disappearance. His case remains unsolved.
