Details of Disappearance

Atchley-Gilleland was last seen in Kennewick, Washington on July 22, 2022. She has never been heard from again. Prior to her disappearance, she had told several friends she planned to take her own life.

At 11:00 a.m. July 25, her 2017 Toyota Corolla was found along Highway 240 near Beliot Avenue at the Hanford Rattlesnake gate, with her phone, backpack, wallet and other personal possessions inside. Atchley-Gilleland's dog was also inside the vehicle but had died, presumably of heat stroke; the temperatures in the area at the time exceeded 100 degrees.

The vehicle was in operable condition and had gas. When authorities checked Atchley-Gilleland's phone, they discovered she had called mental health crisis centers. There was no sign of her and a search of the area turned up no sign of her. Her case remains unsolved.
