Details of Disappearance

Bevins was last seen in Gering, Nebraska on April 24, 1993. His roommate said they left their apartment on Ninth Street at 10:00 p.m. He left all his personal belongings behind and has never been heard from again.

Bevins's white 1987 Pontiac Grand Am with the Nebraska license plate number 21-E919 disappeared with him. In May 1993, the car was found in a parking lot at the Scotts Bluff County Administration Building, just north of the sheriff's office. Authorities stated Bevins had many friends and acquaintances but wasn't dating anyone at the time of his disappearance. Foul play is suspected in Bevins's case, which remains unsolved.
