Chuprevich disappeared from Allouez, Wisconsin on April 26, 2003. In December 2008, her body was found in a shallow grave in a wooded, marshy area of rural Brown County, Wisconsin. The prime suspect in Chuprevich's murder committed suicide in 2006. Her death is still under investigation.
