Details of Disappearance

Hughes was last seen in Upper Burrell Township, Pennsylvania on December 15, 2016. She had been released from the Allegheny County Jail two weeks earlier, and told her mother she was going to go back into drug rehabilitation. Her mother gave her clothes. She got into an older model red car, possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by a white woman with blonde curly hair and a heavy build.

She frequented the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the time of her disappearance; she reportedly lived there on Frankstown Road with her four-year-old child and the child's father. Hughes always kept in touch with her family, even during the worst episodes of her addiction. Her mother realized something was wrong when she didn't call her daughter for birthday in March 2017.

Her case remains unsolved.
