Details of Disappearance

Starrett was last seen in Allegan, Michigan on July 5, 1994. A friend said Starrett left his home at Allegan Mobile Estates in the 1200 block of Lincoln Road and went to the Riverside Market convenience store in the 100 block of Marshall Street to purchase a bottle of wine. He has never been heard from again. He was reported missing on July 11.

Starrett was unemployed, divorced and estranged from his children at the time of his disappearance, but he spoke to his sister at least every other day. Investigators believe the friend who last saw him may have murdered him after an argument, but this person has not been publicly named and no one has ever been charged in Starrett's case.
