Details of Disappearance

Prunty was last seen in Kern County, California on April 10, 2021. He was driving a white 2020 Ford Ranger pickup truck with the California license plate number 92177D3; a photo of a similar vehicle is posted with this case summary. He has never been heard from again and his vehicle has not been recovered.

At the time of his disappearance, Prunty lived in Oildale, California. He didn't like to cook his own meals and preferred to eat out, particularly at the Sugar Mill restaurant. It was a waitress at the restaurant who realized he was missing and called Prunty's sister to ask where he was, as he hadn't been seen in weeks.

Prunty's sister went to his trailer at Highland Knolls Mobile Estates, and both he and his vehicle were gone. A neighbor said they'd heard Prunty's pickup start in the middle of the night, at about 1:30 a.m., befofre driving away, and this was the last time the neighbor had seen him or the truck.

According to his family, it's uncharacteristic of Prunty to stay out late, take spontaneous trips out of town, or be out of touch with his loved ones. His case remains unsolved.
