Details of Disappearance

Crew was last seen in Cedar Hill, Missouri on April 21, 2021. He was believed to have been staying with his cousin, Anthony Legens, on Lake Drive.

His loved ones were unable to get in touch and his cellular phone was turned off. When they checked the Cedar Hill residence, Crew's car was there but he was gone. Legens said he was "at some chick's house" but said he didn't know the identity of the woman. He has never been heard from again. His mother reported him missing on April 27.

Police tried to locate Crew, interviewing many people Legens knew, but stated witnesses did not want to cooperate because they were afraid of Legens. A photo of him is posted with this case summary. He had a lengthy criminal record going back fifteen years.

On May 28, a month after Crew disappeared, police tried to execute a search warrant on Legens's home. This wasn't in connection with Crew's case, but rather, because a witness reported seeing a woman's dead body in a plastic storage container inside the house.

Legens started shooting at the police when they arrived and was killed in the resulting shootout, and when police searched his home, they found the dead body the witness reported seeing. It was Legens's girlfriend Tanya Gould. She had been shot to death.

Investigators are still not sure what happened to Crew, but without the life-sustaining medications he required, he could not have lived long. His case remains unsolved and foul play is suspected.
