Details of Disappearance

Larkin was last seen by his mother at her residence in Kirbyville, Texas at 9:00 a.m. on November 17, 2022. He said he was going hunting on a friend's property, the Exotic Cat Refugee in the 200 block of Private Road 7025 near Kirbyville.

The next day, the friend who owned the Exotic Cat Refugee contacted his mother to ask where Larkin was, as his vehicle was still parked at the property. It was locked, with his belongings inside it. Larkin has never been heard from again.

In November 2025, four people were arrested in connection with Larkin's presumed death. Justin Taylor James and Johnathan Cody Bierhalter were both charged with first degree murder and tampering with evidence with intent to impair corpse. Rodney Allen Blankenship was charged with third-degree felony tampering with evidence with intent to impair corpse, and James Alex Jones was charged with second-degree felony tampering with evidence with intent to impair corpse.

The suspects are awaiting trial. Larkin's body hasn't been found, but foul play is suspected due to the circumstances involved.
