Details of Disappearance

Brumfield was last seen on September 12, 1994. At the time of her disappearance, she lived with her boyfriend in an apartment at the Hillcrest Country Club on Louisiana Highway 435 northeast of Abita Springs, Louisiana. He last saw her at home as he was leaving for work. Brumfield has never been heard from again.

Some reports state she took her clothes with her, and others say the only personal item she took was her purse. Her car was found in the parking lot of her apartment complex the day after her disappearance. Her boyfriend reported her missing a week later.

Brumfield's loved ones heard reports that she was seen in New Orleans and Bogalusa, Louisiana and in Mississippi, but none of those sightings were confirmed. Her sister died in 2006, her father in 2010 and her mother in 2012; in their obituaries, Brumfield is noted as having pre-deceased them. Her case remains unsolved.
