Details of Disappearance

Bowman was last seen in Twin Falls, Idaho on October 10, 2010. At the time of his disappearance, he was staying in a coworker's apartment.

The day before his disappearance, his wife showed up at his job site, they argued and she threatened him with a screwdriver. Bowman and his coworker left the job site, but later that day his wife came to their apartment, she and Bowman argued again and she took a knife out of the kitchen and chased him out of the apartment. He ran down the street and she ran after him. This is the last time Bowman's coworker and his boss saw him.

The next day, the day he disappeared, Bowman bought a car and a prepaid cellular phone. He was planning to return to California, but never arrived there. The last time his phone was used was on October 14, and his accounts haven't been accessed since he disappeared. Bowman's family in California reported him missing on January 21, 2011, after he didn't contact them over Thanksgiving or Christmas.

On May 7 of that year, a hunter found his vehicle in a remote area off a dirt road ten miles from Wells, Nevada; it had collided with a tree. The vehicle had evidently been parked there throughout the winter months. Bowman's luggage and his keys were inside it, along with some beer and hard liquor, but there was no sign of him.

He is considered missing under suspicious circumstances and his case remains unsolved.
