- Distinguishing Characteristics Pacific Islander female. Black hair, brown eyes. Lulaida was born in the Philippines and had lived in the United States periodically since 1969. She could speak some English but wasn't fluent in the language at the time of her disappearance. She has a small mole on the left side of her lower lip and a scar on her right foot. She may use the first name Loyola. One of her teeth is missing and another has restorations.
Details of Disappearance
Lulaida departed from her place of employment, a McDonald's restaurant in Santa Clara, California, at 11:00 p.m. on November 25, 1973. A friend saw her begin the drive home. She never returned to her residence and has not been heard from again.
On December 24, almost a month after Lulaida's disappearance, her vehicle was found abandoned in Santa Clara with her purse, coat, work uniform, keys and other personal belongings inside. There was no evidence as to her whereabouts. Authorities believe she may have been taken against her will, as she was on good terms with her family and had no apparent reasons to run away.
At the time of her disappearance, Lulaida was a student at Wilcox High School. Foul play is suspected in her case.
