Details of Disappearance
Cloer disappeared from Columbia, South Carolina on May 23, 2004. In September 2008, his remains were found in a wooded area off Beecliff Drive near Rosewood Drive, a few blocks from his home. Authorities haven't been able to determine what caused his death, but a prescription pill bottle was found near the body. Foul play has been ruled out in Cloer's death.
