Garcia disappeared from Selma, California on August 22, 2020. In April 2025, authorites executed a search warrant on a private property on 6th Avenue Drive in Kingsburg, California; the property is locally referred to as "the Peach Pit." They found Garcia's body buried there. His death is under investigation.
