Details of Disappearance

Girard was last seen riding the #6 Citifare bus in the vicinity of Brinkby and Lakeside Drive in Reno, Nevada at 7:30 a.m. on November 22, 1993. She was on her way to work and a coworker saw her get off the bus, but she never arrived there. She has never been heard from again.

Girard is a widow; her husband died in 1991. She has five children in the Philippines and had moved to the U.S. about five years before her disappearance. Her family stated she didn't drink alcohol, take drugs or smoke cigarettes. At the time of her disappearance, she worked for Manor at Lakeside, running errands for residents there and giving them medications. She lived in an apartment on Washington Street.

Her case remains unsolved.
