Details of Disappearance

Husted was last seen on January 22, 2018, when he got picked up by a coworker at his home in Centreville, Iowa. They went to a hog farm in South Lineville, Missouri, where they were power-washing; Husted had had the job for about two weeks.

Husted texted his brother asking to be picked up, saying his coworker was acting strange and aggressive. His brother texted back asking for an address, but never got a reply. Husted has never been heard from again. The last place his phone pinged was near Mercer County, Missouri on the day he went missing. All of his belongings were left behind except his phone, which hasn't been located.

Husted's son was born after his disappearance. According to his family, he had been trying to make positive changes in life in anticipation of fatherhood. They do not believe he left of his own accord; his sister stated he had gone grocery shopping just prior to his disappearance.

The hog farm was searched weeks after Husted's disappearance and the pits were drained and searched, but there was no sign of him. His case remains unsolved.
