Details of Disappearance

Scott disappeared from Fort Worth, Texas on August 23, 1984. On November 6 that year, his remains were found on a ranch about 12 and a half miles south of George West near U.S. Highway 281 in Live Oak, Texas. He had been dead for weeks. There was a large hole in the skull, indicating severe trauma and a possible homicide. In July 2026, over forty years after they were found, the remains were identified.
