Details of Disappearance

Yekusiel and his siblings, Rachel, Rivka and Yechezkel, disappeared from Calabasas, California on August 20, 2012. Authorities believe they were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Segalit McRoberts, and her current husband, Nicholas Michael McRoberts.

Photos of Segalit and Nicholas are posted with this case summary. Segalit is described as Caucasian, with brown hair and brown eyes. Her nickname is Segy, and she may use the alias last name Finkelstein or the first name Sarah (possibly spelled "Sara" or "Sera".) Nicholas is described as Caucasian, with blond hair and blue eyes. His nickname is Nick.

The children's father, Shimon Lesserson, divorced from Segalit in 2008. After a bitter custody battle, the judge granted full custody of the children to Shimon, as Segalit was considered mentally unstable. According to their father, Nicholas is a convicted felon, and he and Segalit may be armed with handguns and may be exposing the children to the drug culture.

Rachel was born in Jerusalem in Israel and has dual citizenship in Israel and the United States. Rivka, Yechezkel and Yekusiel were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and are dual citizens of Canada and the United States. The children may be in Mexico; they were sighted in the city of Puerto Vallarta in the Mexican city of Jalisco after their disappearances. Their cases remain unsolved.
